Parking available within the cemetery grounds. There is no fee for the tours however\, donations are greatly appreciated and help support our educational programs and restoration and preservation work within the cemetery.

DESCRIPTION:Saturdays\,May 27 thru September 2\, 12n – 3pm – “19th Century Family Life” Tours.  VisitJacksonville’s 1870s Beekman House Museum\, home to the town’s wealthiest andmost prominent pioneer family\, and catch a glimpse of how an upper-class Jacksonville family wouldhave lived in the late 1800s.  “FamilyLife” tours highlight 19th Century daily life\, changes brought about by theIndustrial Revolution\, and Victorian architectural and designinnovations\, providing insights into an upper-class Jacksonville lifestyleduring the town’s heyday.  Costumed docents offer 30-minute tours between12 noon and 3 p.m.  The Beekman HouseMuseum\, completely furnished with Beekman family artifacts\, is located at 470E. With that\, we are excited to reveal this year’s Children’s Festival theme…GAME ON! \nThis innovative 3-day event held at Britt Gardens in Jacksonville will bring out the creativity of both the young and young at heart as it has for generations. Be prepared for lots of hands-on fun with over 30 arts & crafts booths including\, clay\, face painting\, science\, gold panning\, leather\, carpentry\, storytelling\, child-focused stage performances\, and much\, much more! You won’t want to miss these fun filled days of affordable family entertainment! \nThe Storytelling Guild proudly presents their 57th Annual Children’s Festival\, Saturday-Monday\, July 8-10\, at Britt Gardens:• Saturday\, July 8\, 4:30-8:30pm• Sunday\, July 9\, 4:30-8:30pm• Monday\, July 10\, 9:30am-1:00pm \nAdmission to the Children’s Festival is only $3 per person.
