Jacksonville Haunted History Walking Tours – The 2nd Friday of each month from May 13ththrough September 9th we’ll share tales of woe, sorrow, and regret fromthe spirits who still linger in Jacksonville’s historic buildings. These are not yourtypical ghost tours with special effects but are history tours about realhauntings resulting from past events.
Toursleave from the Jacksonville Visitors Center at the corner of North Oregon and Cstreets and last about 1 hour. Twodifferent tours are offered 2 times each night. The 7pm and 7:30pm Courthouse route features brothels, epidemics, andhangings. The 7:15pm and 7:45pm BrittHill tours highlight arson, saloons, and Oregon’s oldest Chinatown. Both tours have lots of haunted houses.
Special tours will be offered on Friday and Saturday, October 14th and 15th at 6, 6:15, 6:30,6:45, and 7pm with alternating start times. Friday night begins with the Courthouse tour; Saturday night kicks offwith the Britt Hill tour.
