Parking: Recent regulations from DLCD mandate cities reexamine on-site parking requirements required for new development. These reforms mandate certain assisted living or shelter facilities are no longer required to provide on-site parking, as well as require at most 1 parking space per unit for multi-unit developments.
Tree removal: In light of SB 762 and recent wildfires, citizens may wish to create more defensible and fire-wise
spaces. These reforms increase the overall efficiency of the process, including adding specific nuisance species.
